From the series Composing for many Media Including Me
Drawing upon the idea of circles or circular movements as generators and sustainers of life, the work references their presence in ancient cultures, religious rituals, and celebrations. Conceived as a ritual, in Spinning the instruments, poetry, and video converge to reflect on contemplation and agency.
Spinning was specially developed for the festival Radical Sounds Latinamerica 2020, supported by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
